Last day of the month..
Brothers and Sisters,
If it’s your first Sunday back – then a very warm welcome home and I hope you had a great and relaxing time – Isn’t it special to come back to the Church Family here at St John’s.
Please be aware of new folk in the congregation and make them feel welcome – even invite them for a meal, if it’s appropriate, and tell them some things about St John’s.
If you are new to St John’s, we will be having a “Newcomers Lunch” in a few weeks time where new folk can meet the Staff, and they explain their role at St John’s and where you can fit in as part of the family – watch out for the “Newcomers Lunch” notice in the newssheet over the coming weeks.
Welcome back all and I hope you have a fruitful 2010 for the Kingdom of God.
Wally.
Sunday School – today the three to eight year olds are looking at ‘Don’t worry, Pray’ from Phil 4: 5 -7. The aim of the passage is to show that because of Jesus, we don’t need to worry. We can always talk to Him.
