Sunday Services

You are welcome to join us at one of our Sunday services. The main focus of all of these services is teaching from the Bible, and the preaching will be an exposition of a particular passage.

Services generally last around an hour and a quarter and you are welcome to stay for a chat at the end of all the services. We also serve supper after the evening services and sometimes tea and coffee after the 10am service.

Everyone is welcome.

When to come

Our regular service times are as follows:

8.30am – at St John’s Church Latimer Square, cnr Madras and Hereford Streets
10.00am - held at St Margaret’s College Chapel
7.00pm – at St John’s Church Latimer Square, cnr Madras and Hereford Streets

Where to come

All our services, except Sunday 10am, are in Latimer Square on the corner of Hereford and Madras Streets.

From Cathedral Square head South on Colombo St and take the first left, into Hereford St. Follow the road for a couple of blocks and you'll see Latimer Square on your left. The church is on the right at the far corner of the square. Allow ten minutes if walking.

On Sundays parking is available behind the church, accessible from Hereford St or from Madras St.

The Sunday 10am service has moved to St Margaret's School Chapel. Please use the school entrance on Winchester St or the carpark off Andover St.
