Welcome to St John’s Anglican Church

This Sunday, we will hold one combined service at

St Saviour's at 4pm.

 

Prior to this service, please join us for

afternoon tea in the St Saviour's Church Hall from 3pm.

(If you are at all able, please bring some afternoon tea to share.)

 

St Saviour's Sydenham & Beckenham is located at 200 Colombo St, Christchurch.

St Saviour's building has been classified as a safe structure, but obviously our city is still facing the threat of more shakes therefore our service on Sunday may be cancelled at short notice. Please check this website for up to date information or call (03) 366 7744 for a recorded phone message.


Please keep praying for our city as well as our congregation at this time. Give thanks to God that we are still able to meet together as His people. Please pray for those among our church family who have damaged homes and pray that the Staff and Vestry would have great wisdom as they make decisions regarding the future.

We are an inner city church in the heart of Christchurch, New Zealand. We welcome people at any stage of Christian understanding and seek to serve everyone who comes here. Information about our gatherings and events are listed, but please do contact us if we can help you further.

Our aim is to know Christ, to serve Christ, and make Christ known. In all our gatherings and groups we endeavour to be Bible based, Christ centered and relevant so that people can understand and respond to the message about our Lord Jesus Christ.
